What we collect
This website sets no cookies and does not track you across sites. Its fonts and images are served from our own site.
- When you request a free scan: your name, work email, company, library size, where your images are stored, the file formats you use, and anything you write in the message field.
- When you email us: your address and what you write.
- When you visit: our hosting provider processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver the page and protect it from attacks. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits, pages viewed, referring sites and page speed. It uses no cookies and does not identify you.
Why we use it
- To reply to your request, run your scan and send you a quote. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract (GDPR article 6(1)(b)).
- To keep the website running and secure, and to see how it is used. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a working, safe and useful site (GDPR article 6(1)(f)).
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or add you to a mailing list. No decisions about you are made automatically.
Who receives it
- Web3Forms delivers the form to our inbox.
- Proton AG, Switzerland, hosts our email.
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this website and provides its analytics.
Switzerland is covered by an EU adequacy decision. Where a provider processes data outside the EU/EEA, we rely on an adequacy decision, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or on the EU standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We delete scan requests and emails that do not lead to an agreement 12 months after our last contact. If you become a customer, we keep what the agreement and Danish bookkeeping rules require.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, to restrict how we use it, or object to our use of it. Email [email protected] and we will reply within one month.
You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency: Datatilsynet, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, datatilsynet.dk.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update it here and change the date at the top.
